Division 1 - Horticultural

Section A - Roses
Class Name Requirement
1 Roses - 3 of any variety shown as: on in bud, one half open and one in full bloom 3 specimens
2 Roses - climber 1 spray or bloom
3 Roses - Cluster (e.g. The Fairy, Lili Marlene) 1 spray
4 Roses - English (Austin) or old 1 spray
5 Roses - English (Austin) or old 1 bloom
6 Roses for Fragrance (judged 60% fragrance, 40% condition) 1 stem
7 Roses - Hybrid Tea, 3 Blooms, each bloom to be a different colour 3 blooms
8 Roses - Hybrid Tea, any colour 1 bloom
9 Roses - miniature 1 spray
10 Roses - miniature 1 bloom
11 Roses - shrub 1 spray or bloom

Section B - Annuals, Biennials, Perennials and Flowering Bulbs

Note: For collections, where names of varieties are requested, please write the names on the reverse side of Entry Tag – it aids in the judging and in case of a tie, the entry with the named varieties will win.

Classes designated "A" are for novice entries. A novice is someone who is either entering into competition for the first time or has never won a first place award in the design division in any of the Society's Flower Shows.

Exhibits, unless otherwise stated, should fit into a 2 foot square.
