Connie is the granddaughter of William Dam, who founded the seed company, Williams Dam Seeds. She has worked for the company
throughout her life. She now focuses on the flower side of the business: trialling new flowers, buying seed and
preparing the seeds for packaging and selling.
William Dam Seeds is 58 years old and has been in the Hamilton area for about 40 years. They import seeds from around
the world and package them to sell in their retail store and throughout Canada by mail order. They are also avid gardeners
and have five acres of trial gardens each summer.
Connie is giving us a sneak preview of their 2008 catalogue - what is new in flowers for 2008.
